IASIS PHARMA always maintains its social corporate responsibility and support to medical experts and patients. Thus, IASIS PHARMA once again cooperated with the Greek association for skeletal health “Petalouda” (Petalouda stands for Butterfly in Greek), carrying out an event aiming to inform people about various skeletal problems, but also prevention and confrontation of osteoporosis.
The event took place at the city hall and at the municipality medical center of Kontopefko, in the city of Agia Paraskevi, Attica, under the title: “Modern perceptions in preventing and confronting osteoporosis”. During the event, everyone who desired to, was submitted to free bone density measurements that were carried out by health experts.

The Greek association for skeletal health “Petalouda” (osteocare.gr), is a nonprofit organization, officially recognized by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Petalouda is cooperating with the Research Laboratory for Musculosceletal System Diseases of the Medical School of the University of Athens, the Greek Osteoporosis Foundation and the Greek Company for Skeletal Metabolism Research.

“Petalouda” was founded in 1997 and consists of the sole recognized organization in Greece which is addressed to patients, mainly aiming to inform about subjects such as skeletal health problems, diet, physical exercise, psychology, preventing acts and others.
