IASIS PHARMA, keeping up its social corporate responsibility and support to medical experts and patients, cooperated with the Greek association for skeletal health “Petalouda” (Petalouda is the Greek word for Butterfly), carrying out an event to inform people about various skeletal health subjects and osteoporosis. The event was carried out in Neo Iraklio city hall, Attika, where everyone who desired to, was submitted to a free bone density measurement carried out by health experts.

The Greek association for skeletal health “Petalouda” (osteocare.gr), is a nonprofit organization, officially recognized by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Also, Petalouda cooperates with the Research Laboratory for Musculosceletal System Diseases of the Medical School of the University of Athens, the Greek Osteoporosis Foundation and the Greek Company for Skeletal Metabolism Research.

“Petalouda” was founded in 1997 and consists of the sole recognized organization in Greece which is addressed to patients, mainly aiming to inform about subjects such as skeletal health problems, diet, physical exercise, psychology, preventing acts and others.
