For the fifth consecutive year, IASIS PHARMA successfully participated as an exhibitor in CPhI Worldwide, the main international Trade Fair of the Pharmaceutical Industry sector. For 2019, CPhI was held in the exhibition center “Messe Frankfurt” in Germany, from November 5th to 7th.
During the exhibition, numerous industry professionals visited our stand, with IASIS PHARMA team sharing information about its unique portfolio of products targeting primarily niche therapeutic indications.
IASIS PHARMA was proud to present its newly completed manufacturing site. In a 45,000 m2 plot the company has developed three (3) Dedicated and Separated Production Facilities:
Facility 1: Pharma Grade Effervescent Unit
Facility 2: Conventional medicines Unit (tablets/capsules/sachets)
Facility 3: Liquids & Semi-solids Unit (syrups/suspensions/nasal sprays)
Increased interest was shown especially for the Nitrofurantoin Product Range, the Pharma Grade Effervescent Tablets Line and the Nasal Sprays production capabilities.
Nitrofurantoin, an antibacterial agent approved as a 1st line Therapy for Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs), was presented by IASIS PHARMA in four pharmaceutical forms:
– 50mg & 100mg tabs
– 50mg & 100mg capsules
– 25mg/5ml oral suspension for pediatric use
-100mg prolonged release capsules (under development)
To the best of our knowledge, IASIS PHARMA is one of the very few companies worldwide manufacturing the full range of Nitrofurantoin formulations.
The Effervescent line portfolio of Pharma Grade products is produced and packed in the fully automated manufacturing line of IASIS PHARMA, completed in 2012 and continuously upgraded, in order to supply both the Greek and the EU market with effervescent products of very high quality and efficacy.
During the three-day exhibition, IASIS PHARMA management team further strengthened relations with existing partners, but also held productive discussions with several new potential business partners, thus exploring additional prospects of business cooperation and expanding the presence of IASIS PHARMA in more markets worldwide.
CPhI Worldwide 2020 is already set to take place in Milano, Italy, and IASIS PHARMA is already preparing to participate in an impressive and professional manner for the 6th consecutive year.
