Social Corporate Responsibility is one of IASIS PHARMA main operative principals. Supporting medical experts and patients, IASIS PHARMA cooperated for once more with the Greek association for skeletal health “Petalouda” (Petalouda stands for Butterfly in Greek) and carried out a large event for various skeletal problems and osteoporosis.

The event took place in Friendship Club of Ampelokipi, Athens and everyone who desired to was submitted to free bone density measurements,  performed by health experts.

The Greek association for skeletal health “Petalouda” (osteocare.gr), is a nonprofit organization, officially recognized by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Petalouda is cooperating with the Research Laboratory for Musculosceletal System Diseases of the Medical School of the University of Athens, the Greek Osteoporosis Foundation and the Greek Company for Skeletal Metabolism Research.

“Petalouda” was founded in 1997 and consists of the sole recognized organization in Greece which is addressed to patients, mainly aiming to inform about subjects such as skeletal health problems, diet, physical exercise, psychology, preventing acts and others.
